Well the Presentation ceremony according to me wasn't a big deal, one of the guys actually didn't turn up for his speech.. can you believe it(?). Ben Kingsley had to read his speech, though he did turn up after the event!

Among highlights of the evening were performances by Jennifer Lopez and Jose Carreras, as well as Dulce Pontes, Chaka Khan, Alessandro Safina and Joaquín Cortés. Special guests were Neil Armstrong, Bertrand Piccard, Frederico Mayor and Cristiano Ronaldo.

That was pretty much about it, these people have even started - http://www.natural7wonders.com. Check it out if you are interested in nominating one.

PS: There was no point in streaming the event live from Lisbon, Portugal on 07.07.2007 as almost all of the News channels were showing it Live.

Orkut Blog

So, finally after three years of existence Orkut comes up with a blog. Yeah as it is mentioned over there, better late than never!

You can find the Official Orkut blog here (for Brazilians) and here (for the rest of us).

There are many other blogs present on the blogosphere which are related to orkut, one of which I personally found interesting was this.

Stay Beautiful!

Guruji.com

Since I had blogged about mGinger before, I though I might as well blog about Guruji.com as well - 'the indian search engine'. There is nothing much to write actually just visit this. It has an interface pretty much like google, in fact in my view it wouldn't be fair to compare a baby like Guruji to a giant Google.

I came to know about this search engine a few days back only, though it was launched pretty before, in 2006 if am not wrong. These guys have just now started a contest so as to promote their search engine. The contest is nothing great, publicity thing.. that's it! But what made me register for it was the prizes part.. trip to Singapore, Video iPods, iPod Shuffle etc. I hope I just get lucky to walk away with one of these goodies.

Anyway here's the link:

PS:
1. I have actually run out of ideas to blog.
2. Just in case you want to try out this thing mentioned above, use my referral ID.. I should get something for posting this.. right? :P
